Polyamory can be wonderful, but it can also suck so hard. If your partners are awesome, sometimes this can get sorted easily, but it can definitely be tedious. These are my top ten reasons why polyamory sucks. 1.) There is never a bed big enough for everyone, or a cuddle position that leaves everyone feeling properly included. If you’re a person (like me) who has multiple partners that do not interact with each other in a sexual/romantic fashion, you may encounter this obnoxious issue. I have Alex, Jon, KP, and Bobby. All of whom I’m trying to snuggle with in a bed that is notRead More →

You didn’t think I’d forget that May is Masturbation Month did you? I may be at Playa Del Fuego, but I still remembered. It is very rare for me that I come across a sex toy that I am confused about.  Usually I’m pretty good about identifying exactly what a sex toy is used for. I can identify by the shape and the design of the toy where it’s supposed to go. Usually they’re pretty self explanatory, and when I saw the Fuze Elle, I thought it was no exception. It was a clitoral toy, probably wearable, simple as that. Then I got it in my hands…Read More →

A "relationship map," a collection of colored stars, hearts and circles with letters insides, connected to one another by lines

Please remember to be polite and respectful in the comments. Welcome to the third portion of my four part discussion on Bad Poly. Today I’m going to talk about communication. Why it’s important, and why I am so deliciously, delightfully, disastrously bad at it. Check the new language below! Primary Partner: In many relationships a primary partner is the person(s) in the relationships accorded the most importance. Secondary Partner:  In many relationships, a secondary partner is the person(s) in the relationship who, have a relationship that is given less in time/energy/etc. than a primary relationship. Tertiary Partner: The person(s) in the relationship who have a relationship that requires littleRead More →

The Frisky Fairy Reviews favorite toys, books, blogs, and other fun sex education reviews! So sorry that I didn’t post on Tuesday or Thursday, but I have been super sick. No really! I swear! I can get a doctors note if you want? No? Okay then, I’ll give you this post today, because I love you. So I had been excited to review the love is art kit for some time, so when they sent me the Shades of Grey art kit to review, I was pretty freaking excited. I found a partner willing to get disgustingly covered in paint with me, and we setRead More →

The Frisky Fairy Reviews favorite toys, books, blogs, and other fun sex education reviews! First things first, a HUGE congratulations to Adriane, Sarah, Bradley, Danielle, Liz, Jamie, Patrycja, Crista and Victoria for winning my holiday giveaway! Thank you for everyone who entered, I really adore that you’re supporting me! So before I got to interview Cooper S. Beckett about his awesome, awesome book, I got to read it, and hot damn Cooper has a way with words. I don’t often have so many feelings during a book (partly because I read them so fast, and partly because of the content), but I definitely got to enjoy thisRead More →

Autumn is my favorite season. The leaves look so pretty, and the weather is cool and comfy. I love the way things smell as it starts to be the holiday season, and I love how people are thinking more of how grateful the are for the people and things in their lives. This is, of course, not to say you shouldn’t be grateful all the time, but simply that in the time of holidays and traveling and presents and a whole holiday dedicated to being #thankful and #blessed, it’s this time of year that people really stop and reflect on the good things they haveRead More →

Please remember to be polite and respectful in the comments. Jon lost his job in August. My spouse, my love, my darling, lost his job in August. Of course, this sort of life change sent me into a panic, as it normally does. I’ve been digging up ways to get our finances on track, and hoping, begging, and praying to whatever deity might possibly listen that someone, somewhere hires my husband. My concerns range from the terrifying (what happens if we cannot afford our apartment) to the ridiculous (so much for our date nights). In the chaos, multiple people have remarked that I look asRead More →

The Frisky Fairy Reviews favorite toys, books, blogs, and other fun sex education reviews! Just a heads up for all you sexy people out there, this post is definitely NSFW. Sorry Mom and Dad! Natalie of Satin & Lace has been one of my very dear friends for a very long time and when I realized that I’d never had her take my picture,  I immediately begged her to take my business head shots. She was super incredible about not only taking my business shots, but also doing a boudoir shoot for me! I’ve long loved her boudoir shoots. They’re so bright and sexy and fun, and IRead More →
