My name is Rebecca Hiles and I’m a Philadelphia based dating coach and sex educator known as The Frisky Fairy! I have been passionate about sex, relationships, and sex education for as long as I can remember. My history is in sex toys and retail, and I’ve been working in the sex toy and sex education industry since 2009. Shortly after my cancer diagnosis, I realized that I wanted to work with people and teach them how to advocate for themselves in their relationships and their lives!
Shortly after, The Frisky fairy was born! I wanted a space to give people the information they need to advocate for themselves. From reviews of my favorite toys, books, blogs, conferences, and more to discussions on my favorite sex and sex education topics, I give you my tips and tricks to making the most aware decisions. My blog is education based, and I hope that every time you leave, you feel like you’ve learned something new!
I have spoken at CatalystCon East, West, and Midwest, Poly For All Seasons, AwesomeCon, Rocky Mountain Poly Living, Atlanta Poly Weekend, InfinityCon, The Geeky Kink Event, Sex Down South, DragonCon, and Woodhull Sexual Freedom Summit. I was voted one of the Top 100 Sex Blogging Superheroes of 2014 and 2015. I am certified as a sex educator through Planned Parenthood of Massachusetts Sexuality Education Certification Series, am a member of the Poly Leadership Network, and am currently seeking my Bachelor’s in Social Work at Temple University with an expected graduation date of May 2019. You can see some of my other work and speaking engagements here!
